![]() The case is in very solid conditon, with working latches. No damage to mouthpiece or unmarked ligature. The pads do show signs of normal age and use, and we see a red felt bumper is missing from the low B pad. We're not sax experts or pro players, but did play years ago and it blows from high F to low Bb easily. There is wear to surface and enraving, with overall tarnish(see images) It appears to be a very old relacquer which has aged/ mellowed nicely from normal use(see images) Only a few tiny dings/ marks from careful handling(see images) All keys move freely. Condition: As-found/ not played in many decades. ![]() The elaborately hand engraved bell reads"The Buescher Aristocrat. And Goldentone 3 mouthpiece with cap and ligature. This is a vintage 1939 Buescher Aristocrat tenor sax from a local estate.
